A Truly Magical Wedding Experience!

Our wedding celebration exceeded all expectations! The seamless coordination by Gillian and Gavin truly impressed. Enjoying mulled wine and canapés in the beautifully decorated castle created a cozy ambiance. Highlight on the delightful venison dish – simply unforgettable! Tip, book the lodges for added comfort and charm.

The Wedgewood Suite was spacious with beautiful details from the castle's architecture. But it got super cold at night. We couldn't find the thermostat, and even opening the window didn't help much. The bed was comfy, though, and I slept soundly despite the chill. Just wished we could’ve figured out the heating issue better.

Service delays tainted our experience, especially during dining hours, which detracted from the overall enjoyment. Additionally, room maintenance issues were noticeable and needed urgent attention.

the location of waterford castle hotel & golf resort is fantastic, surrounded by nature for great outdoor fun. the spacious wedgewood suite had beautiful architectural details that added charm. dining featured rich local flavors, especially in the delicious hungarian beef stew that transported me straight to culinary heaven.

Family with children magical getaway

The ferry crossing was unique and a highlight for my family it felt like stepping into another world. We loved the spacious lodges plenty of room for everyone and the fireplace in the castle lobby made everything feel cozy and warm.

It wasn't inexpensive but given the space was fine.

Some furnishings, especially in communal areas, appeared dated, which detracted slightly from the overall allure of the castle. Additionally, dining options felt limited, especially at the clubhouse where some meals seemed reheated instead of freshly prepared.
